About Me

Let's see, not sure where to begin.  Do I talk about the past 6 years I spent as a school counselor or my new adventure as a mom?  Maybe a little background about how I met the husband?  So many choices!  I was a school counselor for 6 years and do miss it from time to time, but I still do get to do some counseling because I work as a children's grief counselor just once a week.  It really is amazing these little children who come into my group and share, they are so brave and really make me appreciate all my blessings.  I also SAH with Sam and am adjusting to that, but it is a blessing that I get to do that.

I met Jarrett in January of 2006.  I had met him a few times before, but never thought of going out with him and he had a girlfriend during those times.  He came out for my 27th birthday party and I didn't even talk to him!  Then he paid for all my friends drinks and called me to make sure I got home ok- how sweet.  So, I decided to go out with him.  It is hard to explain, but a friend of mine and some of his family members all tried to get us to go out before.  I could write all this mushy stuff about how I feel about him, but we just work.  We are both silly, sometimes dumb, want the same things, and work to put God first in our lives.  We met in January, got engaged in July and married on December 30, 2006.  We wouldn't have it any other way!
